Augusto, aka Rorschack, was born into a family of musicians in Taranto. His early immersion in music saw him training on keyboards and drums, laying the foundation for his journey into electronic music. Transitioning to DJing, he refined his sound in Rome and Florence before becoming a vital member of the Timeless crew in 2013, known for orchestrating 12-hour underground parties in the capital, alongside Subwoofer and key LGBTQI parties.

Rorschack’s musical palette transcends boundaries, blending elements of electronic, techno, fast future-techno, and psytrance into intense, immersive journeys. With a sharp instinct for reading the room, he forges a powerful connection with the crowd, transforming the dancefloor into a shared, almost tribal experience, drawing bodies and minds into a swirling vortex of rhythm and energy. This approach has led him to perform at renowned venues such as FOLD London, Tresor, Gare Porto, Rote Sonne, Le Zoo/Usine, and Griessmuehle, consolidating his presence within the European underground circuit.

In 2015, Augusto co-founded Closer Milano, a forward-thinking platform that has played a key role in reshaping the city’s techno landscape. Through its immersive events and strong curatorial vision, Closer Milano has gained international recognition, positioning Rorschack as both a creative force and a cultural catalyst within the scene.

A pivotal moment in his career came with his performance at HÖR Berlin in May 2022, which significantly broadened his audience. This momentum continued with a standout appearance at Stone Techno Festival 2025, marking a major milestone and further expanding his international profile. His recent appearances at Closer events alongside brands such as Bassiani, Tresor, Vault Sessions, Hayes, and Meat Free Manchester underscore his continued rise across Europe and beyond.

Rorschack’s artistic vision is further expressed through releases on labels including Groove Disorder, ANAOH, Oecus, Out of Place, and Eram Records, with forthcoming material on Fides Records. Driven by innovation and a deep, ritualistic bond with the dancefloor, he continues to push forward, leaving a distinct mark on contemporary techno.
